:)If you are an Indian what is better 'Brain drain' or 'Brain in the drain'?...most of us will face this question at one time of our lives...

...The education system in India(most engineering institutes) is percentage based which is not meritorious in comparison with CGPA system used in prestigious institutions.The focus is on studies only.But the corporate world is much different.The foundation needs to be changed!
Also wide horizon of opportunities is seen abroad.And ofcourse it is ones personal choice to go abroad...so brain drain is better option than brain in the drain.

Most sickning thing about our education system we do not try to make it industry oriented. Nothing is practical, all theoritical.

Hopefully situation may improve. Industries need people. One day will come when they would like to tap engineers from 2nd year and once that happen, they will influence colleges to make their education practical.

I know that Infosys is bringing engineering college students from US, who have just completed freshman year, for summer training in India and paying few times they generally pay to freshers in India.
